The 1919 Postanweisungen saw a switch to higher rates, 15 Pf and 25 Pf. They can also be distinguished from earlier Postanewisungen by differences in the form of the front left tab.

These differences include a 5-line sender blank and the addition of a three-line block of text stating “betrifft (anzugeben die zu zahlende Rechnung, das Kassenzeichen, bei Steuerzahlungen die Hebebuch-Nr.)”.
