This card was issued on 1 September 1938 to commemorate the 1938 Nürnberg Party Rally.

The left side of the card depicts Nürnberg Castle and the old town of Nürnberg.

The stamp is of the same design as the the stamp issued to commemorate the same (MiNr. 672), and is similar in design to the later Thanksgiving commemorative postcard (MiNr. P273).
