This card was issued to commemorate the Second Agricultural Exhibition in Windhoek, 20-21 June 1902.  Two varieties exist, one without the poem on the back (Fr PP3 C 1) and one with (Fr PP3 C 2).

Commemorative cancels from the Exhibition feature a blue handstamp “Austellungsplatz” (misspelled in that it should be “Ausstellungsplatz”).

The design was also used on postcards without imprinted stamp.  The cards without imprinted stamp can be found in a third version which contains a different poem on the back.
