The 1912/17 postal stationery are similar to other Yacht designs, but feature a vertical line down the middle of the card, with “Postkarte” (P16) or “Postkarte mit Antwort” (P17) to the right of the vertical line.
Both cards are also watermarked — P16 with a diamond pattern and “DR I”, and P17 with a diamond pattern and “DR 9 II”. A variant of P17 with a “DR I” watermark was produced in 1917, and was available only at philatelic counters in Berlin.
