10th Army 1918 Issues
These stamps were issued for use by civilians in the portion of the Eastern Front controlled by the 10th Army. The 10th Army territory included portions of modern-day Poland, Belarus, and Russia.
The first stamps issued by the 10th Army are simple white paper with a 14mm-wide control mark. The 30 Pf value was for postcards sent within the occupied area, and the 60 Pf was for letters sent within the same.
The 30 Pf value was subsequently overprinted (MiNr. 3) with a new value (40 Kopeks) in red violet.
