In December 1944, the British produced this propaganda forgery depicting Heinrich Himmler, Reichsführer of the SS, placing shackles on a German civilian.
The stamp design is based on the 1944 German issue commemorating the 21st Anniversary of the Beer Hall Putsch.
It was printed in sheets of 20.
