Comradeship of German Post Offices
In May 1944, the Third Reich issued this series to support the Comradeship of German Post Offices.
Several of these issues use photos previously seen in the earlier Comradeship issues of 15 September 1939 and 19 May 1941, but with different values, a smaller size, and color changes.
These stamps depict:
- 6+9 Pf — letter carrier
- 8+12 Pf — old mail coach
- 12+18 Pf — mail clerk
- 16+24 Pf — cross country driving
- 20+30 Pf — postal guards
- 24+36 Pf — glider workshop
MiNr. 891 II has a dark mark in the upper frame (plate flaw II), a plate flaw which is found in position 37 of some, but not all, sheets.
