1936 Deutschlandfahrt
Following the German occupation of the Rhineland in 1936, Hitler called a plebiscite for March 29, 1936, seeking ratification of the occupation and approval of a single-party list composed exclusively of Nazi candidates for the new Reichstag.
The Hindenburg (LZ-129) and Graf Zeppelin (LZ-127) were called upon to fly in tandem around Germany, dropping propaganda leaflets promoting the Nazi Party’s desired result.
Eight different messages exist, with additional color variations of each message.
